ISLAMABAD: The Embassy of Pakistan in Beirut successfully evacuated 170 Pakistani labourers employed on the construction of the new US Embassy complex in the Lebanese capital. Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson, Tahir Andrabi, said that the evacuation process was carried out with the full cooperation of the concerned company. The Embassy of Pakistan stated that the evacuation process was part of their efforts to ensure the safety of Pakistani nationals during the current situation in Lebanon. The decision to evacuate Pakistani nationals was taken following intense missile strikes on Lebanon by Israel in the aftermath of US-Israel attacks on Iran.
