If you’ve been following the Pakistani auto scene lately, you know there’s one name that’s been buzzing more than most: Jetour. Specifically, the Jetour T2 .

I’ll be honest with you, ever since Jetour announced they were coming to Pakistan last year, I’ve been counting down the days to get my hands on this beast.

After seeing it in China, I knew we were in for something special. And now, the CBU unit is finally here for a first look!

First Impressions: A “Mini Defender”?

Let’s address the elephant in the room: the styling. If you squint your eyes, you might think you’re looking at a Land Rover Defender. It’s got that massive, boxy, rugged silhouette that screams adventure.

The Front: It features a bold “ JETOUR ” branding across the grille, stunning DRLs, and LED headlights. The two-tone bumper (black and matte silver) gives it a serious “don’t mess with me” attitude.

The Accents: Those “hooks” on the bonnet? Purely aesthetic, but man, do they add a masculine touch! Plus, the fender flares are wide and aggressive, making the car look planted and powerful.

The Wheels: We’re looking at 19-inch gunmetal grey alloys that perfectly complement the matte black trims.

Performance: What’s Under the Hood?

This isn’t just a pretty face. The variant we explored is the top-of-the-line Gazelle version.

Engine: 2.0L TGDI (Internal Combustion Engine).

Power: A whopping 244 Horsepower and 375 Nm of Torque.

Transmission: 7-speed DCT for smooth shifting.

Capability: It’s an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) with a massive 8 driving modes (Normal, Sport, Snow, Mud, Sand, Rock, Eco, and the “X-Mode” where the car decides the best settings for you).

Step Inside: Where Luxury Meets “No-Nonsense”

The interior is a beautiful mix of modern tech and classic utility. Think FJ Cruiser vibes but with Tesla-level screens.

The Screen: A massive 15.6-inch infotainment system acts as the “brain” of the car.

The Tech: Level 2 ADAS with over 20 features (Lane assist, blind-spot detection, adaptive cruise control—you name it).

The Sound: It’s packing a premium Sony Sound System with 12 speakers, so your off-roading playlist will sound crisp.

The Vibes: Red stitching on granular leather, a cockpit-style gear lever, and handles everywhere (essential for when the trail gets bumpy!).

You can watch the complete first look review here:

While a 7-seater version exists globally, this unit is a 5-seater, and the space is incredible. Even with the front seats pushed all the way back, there’s plenty of legroom for a 6-foot passenger in the rear.

And for the campers out there? There’s a 50W wireless charger in the front, power outlets in the back for your gear, and a huge panoramic sunroof that makes the cabin feel like an open-air lounge.

The Big Question: When and How Much?

Here is the reality check: The Jetour T2 has not officially launched in Pakistan yet. This is a test unit. There is no official price and no official booking yet.

If someone tells you they can “book” one for you right now—run! Be patient, stay tuned to authentic sources, and wait for the CKD (locally assembled) news.
