Authorities in the United Arab Emirates have issued a safety guide advising residents on how to respond to shelter-in-place alerts as regional tensions rise following the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.

Since the escalation began, residents across the UAE have received precautionary alerts from the UAE Ministry of Interior warning of potential missile threats.

In response, the Dubai Government Media Office released detailed guidelines to help the public stay safe during emergencies.

According to the advisory, residents inside homes, offices, or buildings should move away from balconies and windows, avoid glass surfaces, and relocate to the central area of the building.

Authorities also advised people to follow instructions from building security and avoid using elevators unless directed.

People outdoors are advised to enter the nearest building immediately, avoid open spaces, and stay away from external walls or glass panels that could shatter if debris falls nearby.

Drivers who receive an alert should continue driving calmly, avoid stopping on roads or recording videos, and proceed to the nearest indoor location to take shelter.

Officials said residents should follow these precautions until an all-clear message is issued by authorities.

Authorities have also warned the public not to film or share videos of missile interceptions or falling debris on social media, saying such content could expose sensitive locations and security information.

Officials stressed that the guidelines are precautionary measures and urged residents to rely only on verified official sources for updates, adding that the country remains safe and fully operational.
