Xiaomi has officially introduced the Xiaomi Book Pro 14, expanding its premium laptop lineup. The new model focuses on delivering strong performance while maintaining an ultra-thin and lightweight design.
However, the main takeaway here is that the Xiaomi Book Pro 14, powered by the Intel Core Ultra X7, claims to beat Apple’s MacBook Pro 14 with a whopping 19.8 hours of battery life.
The Xiaomi Book Pro 14 is equipped with a 72Wh battery. According to Xiaomi’s benchmarks, it can get through 15.8 hours of online meetings before dying compared to 15.6 hours on the MacBook Pro. As for streaming, Xiaomi’s laptop can handle 12.4 hours of it, while the MacBook Pro can do 12.1 hours.
The Xiaomi Book Pro 14 uses advanced materials to reduce weight without compromising durability. According to Xiaomi President Lu Weibing, the laptop features a unibody die-cast magnesium alloy chassis that is about 30 percent lighter than traditional aluminum designs.
The laptop weighs only 1.08kg, which Xiaomi achieved by applying smartphone-style stacking technology to its notebook architecture. The device is also designed to act as a central hub for the Xiaomi HyperConnect ecosystem, enabling seamless interaction with other Xiaomi devices running HyperOS.
The bottom panel is made using 3D hot-pressed high-strength carbon fiber to further reduce weight while maintaining structural strength. Xiaomi also used a lightweight titanium alloy for the internal keyboard support plate. The Xiaomi Book Pro 14 will be available in three color options: Soft Fog Blue, White, and Elegant Gray.
The laptop features a 14-inch display housed inside a chassis that measures only 14.95mm thick.
The Xiaomi Book Pro 14 is powered by Intel’s Core Ultra X7 358H processor. The chip includes a 16 core configuration and 18MB of L3 cache, and it is built using Intel’s 18A manufacturing process.
For graphics, the laptop includes 12Xe integrated graphics that Xiaomi says deliver around 70 percent higher performance under low power consumption compared with earlier generations.
The system uses a large 10000mm² vapor chamber cooling module combined with a high speed, silent fan. This setup allows the laptop to sustain up to 50W of performance.
Rumored configurations include up to 32GB of RAM and up to 1TB of SSD storage, which should support tasks such as 4K video editing and AAA gaming.
The laptop runs the latest version of Xiaomi’s operating system, optimized for productivity and cross-device collaboration within the HyperConnect ecosystem.
Xiaomi has not yet announced the official release date or global pricing. However, the specifications suggest the device will be positioned as a premium laptop in the market.
